Yesterday 36,293 new cases were registered, compared to 779,303 swabs carried out, and 146 deaths.
'Boom' of swabs, 901,450 processed (yesterday 779,303) with a positive rate up to 4.9% (+ 0.3%). The number of dead rises to 168 (yesterday 146) for a total of 136,245 victims. The growth of ordinary hospitalizations also continues, 178 more than yesterday (+163) for a total of 8,722. Intensive care is on the rise: 1023 patients (+13 compared to yesterday) with 93 admissions per day. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
12,955 cases in Lombardy, a record since the beginning of the pandemic
There are 12,955 new positives in Lombardy, an absolute record in the region since the start of the pandemic, with 205,847 swabs for a positive rate up 6.2% (yesterday 5.7%).
This is what emerges from a report released by the Welfare Department of the Region, which however underlines that Lombardy still has data from the white zone.
The positive cases of the last seven days are 51,456, with an incidence of 513 per 100 thousand inhabitants, but the hospitalized in the ordinary wards are 1,408 (+56 compared to yesterday), with a percentage of occupancy of beds equal to 13.8%.
162, on the other hand (two fewer than yesterday), are hospitalized in intensive care, with a 10.6% occupancy of beds.
