The Expo 2020 Dubai Steering Committee affirmed its firm commitment to hosting the world safely in an exceptional version of the World Expo, full of excitement, fun and learning, noting that after the event approached three months since its launch, work is continuing to ensure that the health of all visitors and workers remains a priority. utmost.

“Expo 2020” is the largest international event held since the beginning of the pandemic, and the “Covid-19” measures recently developed by the exhibition include increasing the number of “BCR” examination centers to reach four centers, in addition to conducting a free examination for all workers in the country pavilions.

While all field staff, artists and performers continue to be screened on a regular basis, “Expo 2020 Dubai” is committed to applying the experiences gained during the past 18 months, and moving forward with partners and stakeholders to ensure a balanced and comprehensive approach to the future.

With more than 90% of the UAE population fully vaccinated, Expo 2020 Dubai imposed mandatory vaccination and booster doses of vaccines on all employees, contractors, service providers of the exhibition and international participants.

Preventative measurements

Visitors to “Expo 2020 Dubai” International, who are 18 years of age or older, are obliged to provide proof that they have received the anti-Covid-19 vaccine, or to show a negative result of the PCR examination, provided that the examination was conducted no more than no later than 72 hours.
