The eighth edition of the "Camel Journey", organized by the Hamdan bin Mohammed Center for Heritage Revival, arrived at the Expo 2020 Dubai.

The trip includes 30 participants of 21 nationalities residing in the country, who crossed the Emirati desert over a distance of 640 km in a rich experience to live the folklore and authentic life.

The center completed the arrangements for a ceremonial arrival at the exhibition headquarters, the destination chosen to highlight the spirit of tolerance between nationalities residing on the land of good and safety.

The trip took off from Liwa in the Western Desert, and the participants crossed the stations of Umm Al-Hisn, Arada, Bateen Liwa, Qasr Al-Sarab Reserve, Al-Maha Reserve, South Al-Khazna, Al-Khazna, Al-Ajban, before the trip reached Seih Al-Salam, passing through Lake Expo, and arriving at the headquarters of « Expo 2020 Dubai.

The CEO of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Center for Heritage Revival, Abdullah Hamdan bin Dalmouk, who is leading the trip, confirmed that it went smoothly and successfully, given the center's keenness to conduct the necessary training for the participants so that they can ride camels and deal with the ride, in addition to providing them with the necessary needs. Providing ambulances and supplies for any emergency.

He said that the trip proceeded with the highest safety standards for the participants who lived an integrated experience of life and movement in the Western Desert in the United Arab Emirates, which gave them the ability to learn about the folklore from a completely new and different perspective.
