I am resigning from the special committee chairman.
In the current extraordinary Diet session, the Nippon Ishin no Kai deliberates on nine special committees set up in the House of Representatives, despite the fact that the chairman is paid an allowance and a dedicated public car is assigned. If this is not done, the tax will be wasted, and we have called on each party to carry out deliberations.
However, since no substantive deliberation was held during the session of any of the special committees, the Nippon Ishin no Kai wanted to protest, and 21 members of the party belong to the special committee for promoting science and technology and innovation. I will resign on the day.
The current special committee will continue after the closing of the Diet until the day before the ordinary session of the Diet, which decides to establish a new special committee, will be convened, and the chairman's post is expected to remain vacant.
The Nippon Ishin no Kai has already stopped receiving the chairman's chairman and using public cars, and with this resignation, I would like to accelerate discussions on the review of the special committee.
