Marlene Lind who works in Huså was on her way home from work and stopped to put up something on the bulletin board at the school in Huså.
Suddenly she heard a roar coming from the rapids right next door.
- At first I was scared but at the same time it was a powerful experience.
It shows what forces there are in nature, there is almost nothing you can do about it.
In the clip, the torrent can be seen flowing past a building with a margin of less than one meter.
Further down, it hit the bridge that crosses the village's main road.
- I was a little shocked, it was giant ice blocks and large trees that were broken and went with.
It was a huge force, says Marlene Lind.
When the flow calmed down, ice blocks of about two meters had got stuck in the bridge railing and the road was blocked by ice and water.
Thanks to a local ability with a tractor, the worst was cleared away so the traffic could pass, according to Marlene Lind.
