20 December 2021 "I signed the ordinance that provides for the obligation to wear masks outdoors in the Lazio region. This is a precautionary but essential measure for the protection of our health and that of our loved ones at a time like this. This too once we are keeping our guard up and as in the past we are anticipating the virus ".



Thus the president of the Lazio Region, Nicola Zingaretti, commenting on the ordinance that provides for the use of masks even in outdoor places.



The ordinance enters into force on Thursday 23 December throughout the Lazio region and specifically provides for:



1. Starting from 00:00 on 23 December 2021 and until 24:00 on 23 January 2022, the obligation, throughout the region, is required to wear the personal protective mask in outdoor places, during the '' full day, without prejudice to the provisions in force regarding Covid-19 Green Certification; 



2. For the entire duration of this ordinance, an increase in the frequency of screening of health and social health personnel operating in public and private health facilities is provided, providing for the execution of a test with a periodicity not exceeding 10 days, in order to promptly intercept any positive cases, without prejudice to the additional obligations envisaged by the risk stratification of the Health Authority or Health Structure.



3. The exemption from the obligation referred to in point 1. is provided for children under the age of six, for people with pathologies incompatible with the use of a mask and during outdoor exercise of motor activities. and / or sports.
