Toro also beats Verona and continues to grind points between friendly walls: the 1-0 signed by Pobega represents the sixth success in ten games. There are 20 points won by the grenade at the Olimpico Grande Torino. The performance, however, cannot leave Juric satisfied: his in numerical superiority for over an hour, due to the expulsion of Magnani, did not close the game and in the end they even risked a draw. 

Juric finds Djidji and Bremer, immediately starters in the defensive trio with Rodriguez, and dusts off all the big names kept at rest in the Italian Cup: in midfield there are Lukic and Pobega, Singo and Vojvoda play on the flanks; Sanabria is supported by Praet and Pjaca. The most important news, however, concern the bench, where Baselli and Zaza do not appear, excluded by technical choice and destined to farewell during the January market. Tudor focuses on Simeone as an offensive reference, but in the warm-up he loses Barak and replaces him with Lasagna. 

The two teams study until the 14th minute, the first attempt is by Toro: the grenades communicate well on the left and Pobega goes to the low cross, Praet from a few meters from the goal line sensationally misses the deviation in goal. Ten minutes after the episode that changes the game: Magnani misses the control and knocks out Sanabria on the net, Fabbri warns the defender, then is recalled by the Var and changes the decision on the monitor, expelling the central. From the punishment that ensues, the advantage of the hosts: Rodriguez's position is deflected by Sanabria with the backside, Pobega is the fastest of all and throws the 1-0 ball into the goal.

Juric's team exploits the numerical superiority, Tudor redesigns his Verona with Tameze and Sutalo in place of the attacking midfielders Lasagna and Caprari. At the beginning of the second half, Toro risks big, with Milinkovic-Savic deflecting the close shot of Faraoni on the post and the referee Fabbri stopping everything for offside. Juric screams because he would like to double to close the match, but Verona is close to equalizing: on a cross from Faraoni, Sutalo jumps higher than everyone else and touches the post with a header. 

Praet accuses some physical problems and is replaced by Brekalo, Tudor responds with Bessa for Veloso. Toro lowers the center of gravity too much, the yellow and blue almost equalize: Milinkovic-Savic rejects on Tameze and observes the shot from Faraoni that comes out to the side, at the last corner the Serbian is attentive to Ceccherini's aerial shot. The grenades close the year by winning again at home and move to tenth place, six points from the Europe zone. For Tudor, away matches remain a taboo, under the Mole comes the fourth stop in nine races away from Bentegodi.

Sampdoria closes applauded by its fans, Venezia celebrates as if for a victory. Thus ends the challenge of the Ferraris between the Sampdoria and the lagoon who split the stakes thanks to the goals of Gabbiadini and Henry, respectively at the opening of the first half and at the end of the challenge.

In fact, 39 "are enough for Sampdoria to take the lead. The home team's action at speed set by Augello serving Caputo, the first extension striker for Gabbiadini who finds the winning shot in a slip by placing the ball under the crossbar.

But the advantage does not stun Venice, who play it openly, giving rise to a fun and action-packed match. The strong Sampdoria of the goal is arrembante, Zanetti's men respond blow for blow. Sampdoria responds with Candreva who puts in the middle but in the small area Gabbiadini does not arrive in time for the winning deviation and Candreva always tries to surprise Romero in the final time but the Argentine goalkeeper, former on duty, is attentive and makes a corner.

Upon returning from the locker rooms, Sampdoria tries to replicate the flash goal at the beginning of the game but Thorsby after 53 '' left alone to hit his head in the area is sensationally wrong. The Sampdorias fail to close the match and Venezia grows. Aramu tries in the 9th minute but the ball is out, then Kiyine out.

Zanetti inserts Henry and Vacca, D'aversa responds with Verre and Dragusin and Verre himself hits violently from the outside, Romero rejects but Thorsby misses the tap-in from two steps up.

The teams get longer and in the 28th minute Romero saves on Candreva on the counterattack as well as Colley shortly afterwards on a shot by Sigurdsson.

At 42 ', however, the guests equalized: Silva loses the ball in midfield triggering Henry who moves forward and focuses and just outside the area lets go a shot to effect that slips into the intersection.

In full recovery, first Candreva and then Henry again close to scoring but the result does not change anymore.
