Amidst cheerful colors, and displays that tell a story called the ability to rise and hope, Bosnia and Herzegovina celebrated its national day at the international fair, embodying the motto of its pavilion, which is: “A heart-shaped opportunity.”
The celebrations, which were organized the day before yesterday, began with a flag-raising ceremony in Al Wasl Square, welcoming speeches, and then a variety of artistic and cultural performances.
The First Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council, Hamad Ahmed Al Rahoumi, received the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Denis Zvezdic, the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton - Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, and Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton - Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adnan Dilic.
Al Rahoumi said: “As we celebrate with you today the National Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we together affirm the depth of the friendly relations that bind our two countries and peoples, and these are the relations that our leadership seeks to strengthen and develop to serve the common interests and the development process in our two countries, in addition to supporting the constants and principles of peace. and international security.”
While Dennis Zvezdic expressed his country's thanks to the UAE for hosting the "Expo 2020", adding: "It is important for us to participate in this event among about 200 countries, and we are here with 50 representatives of companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina to present the cooperation and investment opportunities that we have in our country.”
He continued, "We realize that creating a positive work climate and improving the business environment are important to increase the competitiveness of the economic sector and to encourage the attraction of foreign investors."
