For his part, Ali Aref Ahmed (UAE) said: "The marble seats spread in a large number of areas at the International Fair have aroused my great interest. These designs are more than wonderful, because they allow visitors of foreign nationalities to learn about our mother tongue."

As for Abdul Rahman Rashid Al-Kuwaiti (UAE), he pointed out that "the aesthetic designs of the marble seats that adorn the Expo added to the event an aesthetic appeal, especially as it realistically embodies the Arabic language with the aesthetics of its various letters."

For his part, Mostafa Abdo (Egypt) found that the marble seats designed with Arabic letters that adorn Expo 2020 Dubai are a good opportunity to introduce all visitors to our mother tongue and encourage them to learn it.

The creativity of the "engineer" and the "expert"

The Arabic language benches, which adorn the Expo Dubai, are the result of a collaboration between the famous architect Asif Khan and the Arabic calligraphy expert based in Amsterdam, Lara Captan, in order to transform the Arabic words chosen by the public into works of art.
