LPR fighters opened fire on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after the death of the militia

The representative office of the LPR in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of the ceasefire reported that as a result of the shelling of the territory of the republic by the Ukrainian military, one defender of the LPR was killed and another was wounded.

“The fire activity of the enemy was suppressed by the forced return fire from weapons not prohibited by the Minsk agreements,” Filiponenko quotes RIA Novosti.

According to preliminary data, as a result of return fire from the LPR, two Ukrainian soldiers were killed.

Earlier, the republic announced the resumption of shelling of the LPR from the Ukrainian Armed Forces after 15 days of silence.
