There were also demonstrations in several cities in the southwest: In Freiburg, according to police reports, around 2,900 participants marched through the city center on Saturday afternoon.

300 people gathered there for a counter-demonstration.

Demonstrators also marched through the city center in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Trier.

According to the police, around 185 vehicles lined up in Dresden for a rolling protest against the Corona measures through the city center.

The participants had attached banners and posters to numerous vehicles in the motorcade.

They then called for an end to the pandemic-related restrictions and spoke out against compulsory vaccination.

There were also protests in Lower Saxony.

In Osnabrück, around 1900 people demonstrated against the corona policy of the federal and state governments under the motto “Basic rights are non-negotiable”.

Around 200 people took part in a parallel counter rally, as the Osnabrück police explained.

In Hanover, the AfD called for a rally at the Lower Saxony state parliament under the motto "End the 2G madness - freedom for the country and citizens", at which around 300 people gathered.

The protest was peaceful, said a police spokesman.

However, the police repeatedly and emphatically had to adhere to the protection against infection, such as wearing a mask and keeping your distance.

Another demonstration by the Corona skeptics took place on Opernplatz.

350 people took part in a counter demonstration by the Braunschweig “Alliance against the Right”.

The protests continue in Brandenburg.

According to the police, up to 500 people came together in Hennigsdorf in the Oberhavel district on Saturday, in Brandenburg / Havel up to 350 and in Potsdam up to 60 people.

Two demonstrations were planned in Cottbus on Saturday evening.
