Closed in the Netherlands during the Christmas period

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced on Saturday a "lockdown" of the country for the Christmas period, in a decision aimed at containing the accelerating spread of the mutant Omicron of the Corona virus.

"I stand here tonight with sadness," Rutte said in a televised press conference. "To sum it up in one sentence, a closure will be imposed in the Netherlands from tomorrow."
