In January 2017, China Railway Construction won the bid for the Southwestern Section of the Third Interchange Circle Line of the Moscow Metro. The bid section is 5.4 kilometers in length, including 3 stations, Aminyevo Station, Michurin Street Station, and Vernatsky Street Station. And 9 shield tunnel construction tasks, this is also the first time that Russia has introduced Chinese enterprises in the field of subway construction.

  According to the Moscow City Government, about 340,000 residents live in the southwestern part of the city, and more than 100,000 residents live within walking distance of the new station.

The completion of the southwest section will reduce the daily commuting time of local residents by 40%.

After the opening of Aminyevo Station, Michurin Street Station, and Vernatsky Street Station, the passenger volume will reach 40,000 passengers per day at the initial stage of operation.
