December 17, 2021 The death toll from the road accident that took place this afternoon on the state road 655 near Candela, in the Foggia area, is one dead and three injured. According to what has emerged so far, one of the two cars involved was traveling in the wrong direction: the impact was tremendous. One of the injured was rescued by the 118 staff and transported to the Foggia hospital by helicopter. The carriageway in the direction of "Long Foggia", where the accident occurred, has been reopened. Anas staff intervened on site to restore the road's viability.
The car in which the victim was traveling, a Lancia Y, collided head-on with a minivan in which there were three people, all of whom were injured.
