It was staff who started the "joke".
When the woman saw the spider, staff picked it up and walked towards her.
Another inmate then took over the spider and pretended to chase her and then it stopped - cross stop.
Cared for for 24 hours
The woman thundered straight into a post with her head in front and had to go to hospital where she was cared for for 24 hours.
After the incident, the woman has sought compensation from the Chamber of Deputies for the scars on her forehead and is now granted SEK 27,000.
