An application for a new ruling was submitted as early as 2018 and after just over three years, the company announced today that the new environmental permit has been granted, which means new environmental conditions for how air traffic is handled.
According to Karlstad Airport, the conditions mean, among other things, that the ambulance helicopter may, in the event of an emergency, take the fastest route directly to the accident site.
It is also clarified what should apply to, among other things, the school flight operations.
