Earlier this year, SVT Nyheter Väst reported that the region had purchased half a million gargle tests from China to track the infection of students in schools.

Students should gargle a saline solution to show if they have covid-19 or not.

Analyzed on kitchen counter

Recently, a video was published on youtube where three women who claim to have experience of laboratory work analyze the water in the gargle tests with a microscope.

It is said to be crowded with microbes that should not be there.

The video was taken in a home environment, by anonymous people.

According to Per Sikora, what is seen in the film is nothing to worry about.

- The microscopy is not done in a sterile environment so it can be dust, lint or air bubbles.

The clip appears in various contexts online.

Among other things, a person who published the home test called Per Sikora and the Medical Products Agency several times and demanded that the tests be stopped and analyzed.

The person also accuses the region of lack of controls.

He has posted contact information for Per Sikora in a video.

- I suspect that there is something strange in the tests, I want people to be worried, he says when SVT interviews him.

"Take a damn careful look"

- In connection with the video being published, I received a phone call, I have received a letter home and I have received a text message saying that I should take care of myself damn carefully, says Per Sikora.

The person who called Per Sikora does not believe that he has any responsibility for the text messages and letters from his viewers, despite the fact that it happened shortly after he published his video.

- You can bring it with those who have threatened, it must be reported to the police.

I think he has a responsibility to get to the bottom of this and test these things that we worry about.

Police report made

Per Sikora has reported the people who contacted him to the police and been informed by the police that parts of the case have been handed over to the prosecutor.

- I think it is important that this is highlighted.

When news like this comes out, they easily get their feet wet and they spread quickly.

Then you can become anxious and scared and may not dare to test yourself or your children.

It can affect how the pandemic progresses in Sweden, he says.

The region's unit for security and emergency preparedness always advises employees to report incidents to the police.

-But there is a dark figure as some employees do not report, says Maria Fast, head of security and emergency preparedness in the Västra Götaland region.
