The weather will be marked on Friday by gray in the north and sun in the south of the country, according to Météo-France forecasts.

The situation will remain similar to the previous days.

The grayness and the morning fogs over Aquitaine, and Midi-Pyrénées, especially south of the Garonne, valley bottoms, will gradually dissipate in the morning and give way to large clearings.

Like the day before, the sun will impose itself from the Alps to the PACA, Massif Central and Corsica.

In Languedoc-Roussillon, the sea wind will bring low clouds which will persist throughout the day.

Low clouds and fog and over a broad northern half

Over the rest of the country, over a large northern half, low clouds and fog will start in the morning and will be persistent but the weather will be less humid, favoring, in the afternoon, a few sunny gaps.

Only the Vosges peaks will be spared from the sun at dawn.

The wind will be sensitive in the interior of the Pays-de-la-Loire region and on the Vendée coast on the Seine-Maritime coast.

Highs between 12 and 15 in the Southeast

At daybreak, temperatures will be around -2 to +3 over the southern half of the country, from 4 to 7 on the Mediterranean shores, up to 10 on the shores of the Balagne.

In the north, the thermometer will drop from 0 to 4 in the Grand-Est, to 4 to 6 in the North-West.

The maximum will be between 12 and 15 in the South-East, and near the Pyrenees but not more than 6/7 between Valence and the Lyon region.

It will be between 10 and 12 in the Southwest, and 4 and 9 on the northern two thirds of the hexagon.
