As a result, defense spending for the next fiscal year's budget is expected to reach a record high of about 5.4 trillion yen, increasing for the 10th consecutive year.



The Ministry of Defense has positioned the supplementary budget for this year and the budget for next year, which was the largest ever for a single supplementary budget of 773.8 billion yen, as a "defense force strengthening acceleration package", and the total amount is 6 trillion.
