"Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited the head of the Belgian government to consider the possibility of supporting Ukraine's European aspirations by concluding a bilateral Declaration on support for the European perspective of our state," the statement on the website of the Ukrainian leader says.
Zelensky also discussed Ukraine's aspirations in the EU during a meeting with Pedro Sanchez.
He said he was counting on Spain's support for Ukraine's European prospects at the bilateral level.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the air of the Rada TV channel, spoke in favor of the central role of the United States in resolving the conflict in Donbass.
