Kazakhstan's pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai showcases the traditional folk music heritage of its country, attracting increasing numbers of visitors, thanks to its distinctive musical arts, while its content tells about the dynamic development and human and natural resources of the country.

Through its participation in the exhibition, the Republic of Kazakhstan aims to acquaint visitors with all the investment opportunities and natural resources it has, in addition to its achievements during the past period.

The pavilion provides its visitors with the opportunity to embark on an interesting journey to discover the grassy plains that characterize the nature of the country, the technological achievements of Kazakhstan, and to learn about the Kazakh concept of “mangalek yel”, or “immortal nation”, which means a sense of a common destiny.

Inspired by Kazakh yurt tents, the pavilion dazzles daytime visitors with openings on its outer wall.

After dark, they emit a high-resolution technical light show that transports them to dreamy atmospheres and starry skies.

The pavilion, located in the Opportunity Zone, features a special corner displaying Kazakhstan's experience in using a space system for sensing by two spacecraft and a ground unit for remote monitoring.

The pavilion's image is inspired by traditional oriental architecture, a synthesis of modern digital solutions and traditions.

The Kazakh capital, Astana, hosted the “International Expo” in 2017, and the exhibition at that time dealt with the topic of future energy and green economy, while its first participation in the international exhibition dates back to 1997.
