The couple, Montdiani and Ioana, were keen to visit Expo 2020 Dubai, wearing Romanian folk costumes, to express their love for ancient civilization, and to introduce traditional costumes that highlight features of their country's heritage.

Montdiani and Iwana, who are visiting Dubai for 10 days, confirmed to "Emirates Today" that they want to visit all the pavilions at the international exhibition, noting that every time they come to the World Fair they wear different costumes that express part of the culture and heritage of the Roman people, and civilization. ancient empire.

Montdiani, who accompanied his wife, visited several pavilions, including the pavilion of their country: "We are very happy to be in Dubai in general, and (Expo) in particular, and although we visit Dubai for tourism, our pride in Romanian culture, customs and traditions made us decide that it will be Our movements are here while we are wearing the folk costumes that belong to our country.”

He added, "There are many different clothes that both men and women wore in ancient Romania, as these costumes have a special character and are made of high-quality fabrics. Last week I came to the (Expo) wearing long white pants, a white shirt, a long black jacket and a hat." Black and slightly cylindrical, while Iwana wore a white shirt embellished with red embroidered motifs, a black embellished red jacket, and a red and black striped skirt, her hair was pulled back under the floral scarves.

Montdiani, who expressed his admiration in particular for Al Wasl Square, continued: “We feel very proud that we are promoting Romanian culture here in Dubai, and we are also happy to meet with a large number of the Romanian community at (Expo Dubai), and see what our country offers in particular in this global event, and what it is showing All wings are from different cultures.

For her part, Iwana, who is visiting Dubai for the first time, expressed her great admiration for the system that she has seen since she set foot in Dubai, explaining: “Everything here in Dubai is going like clockwork very accurately, and frankly 10 days is not enough to visit Dubai, especially with the hosting of (Expo) real time".

She added: "I visited many tourist places in Dubai, such as Burj Khalifa, desert safari and Ain Dubai, but our focus during this period is on visiting (Expo) and benefiting from this global exhibition, which takes place once every five years."

On the reason for wearing Romanian folk costumes, Ioana explained: “These costumes are part of our culture in Romania, and for me Dubai seems to truly embrace the world, whether through its organization of (Expo 2020), or with its large number of nationalities, so I focused Montdiani for appearing in a different way that expresses our culture in Romania, which we are very proud of.”

Montdiani:

Iwana:
