The department of Landes (40) remains placed in orange vigilance because of the significant floods on the Adour announced Météo France.

Tuesday, on the summits of the Vosges and the Jura, on the entire Alpine massif, Limousin and the Massif Central around the Mediterranean, as well as on the foothills and relief of the Pyrenees, the sun will shine widely all day.

Frequent grayness and fog in the north

In the rest of the country, the greyness will dominate in the morning, the fogs will be frequent and sometimes dense.

During the day, light rains or drizzle will circulate near the English Channel and along the northern borders.

A few corners of blue sky will appear on the relief of the Morvan, from Vendée to Poitou-Charentes and Berry.

But over the other regions of the northern half and Lyonnais, the sky will often remain low and gray, the atmosphere sometimes foggy.

In the south-west, visibilities will slowly improve, the afternoon will generally be sunny except sometimes along the Garonne valley where the greyness will resist.

Nighttime temperatures will remain fairly mild in the north-west, between 3 and 7 degrees, locally 8/9 on the Channel and Brittany coasts.

From south-west to north-east and Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, they will drop between 0 and 3 degrees, locally -1, sometimes with hoar frost in the plain.

In the south-east, expect 2 to 6 degrees by the sea but frosts of 0 to -4 degrees in the Languedoc and Provençal hinterland.

During the day, the thermometers will reach 5 to 9 degrees from the Grand Est to the Center and north of Rhône-Alpes, 9 to 13 in general in the rest of the country, with locally 15 to 17 on the Côte d'Azur and Corsica, 15 at 19 at the foot of the Pyrenees.
