Neighborhood conflict degenerates into "attempted murder"

Saturday afternoon, a resident of Quint-Fonsegrives, east of Toulouse, is outraged by the noise coming from another accommodation in his residence.

This sixty-year-old decides to go ask his noisy neighbor to lower the sound.

But the man in his thirties who opens the door is not in a good mood.

The noisy neighbor then grabs an iron bar and hits the sexagenarian on the head.

Hearing noise, the other residents intervened and called on the police and emergency services.

The victim was taken care of in serious condition and hospitalized.

His attacker was arrested and taken into police custody by the gendarmes.

The Toulouse public prosecutor's office opened a criminal investigation over the weekend for attempted murder.

Brought to justice, the thirty-something was indicted.
