04 April 2018 The four people who died in the road accident that took place last night on the "Basentana" state road, near Pisticci (Matera), were between 28 and 33 years old.
Around 1.30 am, a Fiat Punto driven by a young man of 28 from Tricarico (Matera) collided - for reasons under investigation by the traffic police - with a Seat Altea on which two brothers from Ferrandina (Matera) were traveling , one of 33 and the other of 28, and the 28-year-old girlfriend of one of the two.
The three males died instantly while the 28-year-old died shortly after being transported to the hospital in Policoro (Matera).
