Al-Ansari added to "Emirates Today": "We look forward annually to attracting 80-100 startup companies within (Scale 2 Dubai), and we will support these companies and coordinate their cooperation and partnership with major companies in (District 2020)."

She expected a continuous increase in the number of applications until the end of this December, adding that "the program is still receiving applications to join now, and after a period allotted for evaluation and selection by the jury, the names of the first batch of companies and projects selected to join the program will be announced at the end of (Expo 2020 Dubai) events." .

She indicated that the program will provide the selected companies with a free work space for two years, with support in establishing their businesses and instructions to help them expand, in addition to facilitating their access to financing, deal flow and opportunities to communicate with major international companies.

Al-Ansari indicated that the "Scale 2 Dubai" program provides start-ups and small companies the best chances of success, by providing many unique features that will help projects to enter the markets.
