Russian President Vladimir Putin, during talks with American leader Joe Biden, noted that Russian troops do not threaten anyone.

The press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov told about this in an interview with Pavel Zarubin in the program “Moscow.

Kremlin.

Putin "on the TV channel" Russia 1 ".

Peskov clarified that during the talks, the President clearly said that Russian troops were stationed on Russian territory.

“And, of course, this is whipping up information tension and so on, this is just being done with the aim of further demonizing Russia and positioning Russia as a side of a potential aggressor,” the Kremlin spokesman emphasized.

Peskov also said that at the meeting, Biden said that in the event of an allegedly possible "invasion" of Russia in Ukraine, Moscow would be financially isolated.

"Biden said that if there is this ephemeral invasion of Ukraine - apparently, the Americans themselves have already believed that this is not information stuffing, but the true truth - then Russia will be financially isolated, and so on and so forth." - explained Peskov.

The Kremlin spokesman clarified that the tone of the leaders' talks was "extremely specific", the presidents show each other "the attributes of good communication."

At the same time, the spokesman drew attention to the fact that Joe Biden's unfriendly statements have a bad effect on relations between the two countries.

“We have been hearing too much aggressive rhetoric from across the ocean in recent weeks.

This, unfortunately, does not in any way contribute to the relaxation of tensions, "he said in a conversation with the radio station" Moscow speaking ".

The talks between Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden were held via video link on December 7.

The presidents' conversation lasted two hours.

According to the Russian leader, the conversation with Biden was open and substantive, the leaders talked in detail on all the planned topics.

At the same time, at the talks, Biden spoke about the allegedly "threatening" nature of the movement of Russian troops near the Ukrainian border and announced possible sanctions that the United States and its allies are ready to impose in case of further escalation.

Putin called on the American leader not to shift the responsibility to Moscow, and recalled that it was NATO that was making "dangerous attempts to conquer Ukrainian territory and building up its military potential" near the Russian borders.

Let us remind you that recently in a number of Western countries and in Ukraine they have announced an allegedly impending "invasion" of Russia into Ukrainian territory.

In particular, Joe Biden said that in the event of a possible "invasion" of Russia in Ukraine, the United States would send its troops to neighboring NATO countries.

"We will have to send more American and NATO troops to the eastern flank, B9 - all those NATO countries in respect of which we have a sacred obligation to protect them from any attack from Russia," TASS quoted him as saying.

At the same time, at the end of November, Peskov emphasized that Russia was not hatching any aggressive plans.

“And it is completely wrong to associate any movements of the Russian Armed Forces across the territory of our country with such plans,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

Also, Peskov, in an interview with RT correspondent Ilya Petrenko, emphasized that in Moscow they see "numerous ducks" that are thrown about the allegedly planned "aggression" of Russia against Ukraine.

“At the same time, we do not hear a single word addressed to Ukraine, not a single warning addressed to Kiev in the sense that they would not even think about starting a military settlement of the situation in the southeast,” he said.

Vladimir Putin also called statements that Russia was preparing an invasion of Ukraine alarmist.

At the same time, the President emphasized that Kiev demonstratively fails to fulfill its obligations on the Minsk package of measures, as well as the agreements reached in the Normandy format.

Putin stressed that Russia has never become hostile towards other states.

“Russia did not become hostile to any part of the world at all.

A certain part of the world considers us to be its opponents, ”he said at a meeting of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights (HRC).

At the same time, the Russian Embassy in London noted that the situation in Ukraine is becoming more explosive due to the military support of Kiev by NATO countries.

They noted that "a possible Russian aggression against Ukraine" is "a false slogan too often used by British politicians and loyal media."
