11 December 2021 In Trentino a no vax patient died in hospital after refusing to be intubated. When the man was taken to hospital in conditions of respiratory failure, according to RAI of Trento, he refused the intubation that could have saved his life.
Thus a 50-year-old man died, one of the two Covid victims indicated in the latest bulletin released by the Province of Trento. The patient had been admitted to intensive care at the Santa Chiara hospital in Trento and he expressed his desire to the health personnel not to proceed with intubation.
The man did not suffer from any other pathologies, apart from being overweight, and oxygen therapy would have had a good chance of keeping him alive.
The lack of consent to intubation was recorded by the healthcare staff according to the procedures that require the patient to be informed of the risks of their choices.
