Within the LDP over future fiscal policy, two organizations, one that emphasizes fiscal consolidation and one that is expected to be centered on members who seek active fiscal stimulus, have begun discussions and made promises for the Upper House election. Looking ahead, it is expected that activities from both sides will become more active.

After the election of the House of Representatives, there are two organizations within the LDP, the "Financial Soundness Promotion Headquarters" under the direct control of the President and the "Fiscal Policy Review Headquarters" under the chairman of the Takaichi Political Survey. It was installed.

Of these, there is a strong view that the "Financial Soundness Promotion Headquarters" is centered on members of the party who place importance on financial soundness, and Prime Minister Kishida said that the government will start the primary balance from the beginning of the year. We also requested that the party rush to discuss the matter, as it will begin full-scale examinations to reaffirm its goal of turning profitable.

In the future, we will consider the outlook for medium- to long-term economic and fiscal discipline, and compile recommendations to the government.

On the other hand, the "Fiscal Policy Review Headquarters" is expected to be centered on members of the Diet who are in a position to seek aggressive fiscal spending.

Former Prime Minister Abe is also participating in hearings from experts, examining Abenomics and the economic and fiscal policies of each country, and considering creating new fiscal indicators that are not based solely on the primary balance.

Within the Liberal Democratic Party, it is expected that activities from both sides will become more active in the future, with a view to making promises for the Upper House election next year.
