Covid-19 in Congo-B: the 3rd wave stopped, the government lightens some measures

The Congolese government says it has stemmed and stopped the trend towards the third wave of coronavirus, observed in early October, thanks to the " 

punch

 " operation carried out for 45 days since October 18.

He therefore decided to lighten a few measures, to the great satisfaction of populations tired of observing them.

His students welcome the changes.

From now on, the curfew will be observed every day from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. while it intervened from 8 p.m. on weekends.

Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve will not have a curfew.

"Avoid making our situation worse"

As it comes back, it's really a phew of relief.

We just want everyone to spend the holidays in a good atmosphere.

We are going to do it with all wisdom and intelligence to avoid worsening our situation,

In Congo-Brazzaville, the coronavirus has killed 359 people.

Like all other countries, it is exposed to the threat of the new Omicron variant.

But, the authorities have not yet registered a case.
