“Rescuers found the missing Robinson helicopter, it crashed near Lake Karakul ... There was one person on board, as rescuers tell us, he died,” RIA Novosti informs with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Altai Republic.
The department said that the emergency signal was identified by the rescuers of the Gorno-Altai airport - they flew out at the coordinates and found the crashed helicopter.
Earlier it was reported that the Robinson R-66 helicopter, flying on the route Novokuznetsk - Karakol Lakes, gave a distress signal.
