A Chinese man who met his real parents for the first time in 14 years without knowing that he had been abducted chose to live with his 'adoptive parents'.

On the 6th local time, foreign media such as China's state-run Global Times and Hong Kong SCMP reported that the 4-year-old son Sun Zhuo, who was abducted in Shenzhen, China, was reunited with his biological parents after 14 years.

Sun Joo Joo, who was 4 years old at the time of the disappearance, was already an 18-year-old young man, and the couple held their son and cried for a long time.

Sun Joo-joo, who was reunited with her biological parents that day, said, "I grew up unaware of the fact that I was abducted. My two older sisters and family were also kind to me." "I am grateful to my parents who have been looking for me for over 10 years. Actually, I have another family. They are also my parents, and my adoptive parents are also my parents.”

However, Sun Zhuo later told the Chinese state-run media that he chose to live with his adoptive parents.

The reason was, “He raised me so well for over 10 years that I didn’t even know I was adopted.”

On October 9, 2007, Sun Zhuo's biological parents, Sun Haiyang and his wife, had their son kidnapped in front of the dumpling shop they ran.

The kidnappers lured Sun Zhuo with toys and sweets, and from that day on, the couple focused on retrieving their missing son to the extent that they changed the name of the store to 'Son Searching Shop'.

The Sun and Haiyang couple reportedly sold their house to cover the cost of finding their son, saying, "There is no place that I haven't been to all over China to find my son."

The story of such a couple was also made into the movie 'Dear List' in 2014.

'Dear List' was a box office success by highlighting the problem of child trafficking in China, and it became an opportunity for Chinese public security to actively seek out missing children.

Afterwards, the police used facial recognition technology to track down and arrest nine people who kidnapped Mr.

Sun Zhuo was found in Shandong Province, 1,800 km from the point of disappearance, and the adoptive parents who adopted Sun Zhuo from the kidnappers were also arrested and released on bail.

This is a 'news pick'.
