The House of Representatives of the U.S. Parliament has questioned the ability and willingness to protect the rights of athletes to participate in the Beijing Olympics and Paralympics regarding the response of the IOC = International Olympic Committee over Chinese women's tennis players who are reportedly missing. We have unanimously passed a resolution criticizing "Hold me".

The IOC = International Olympic Committee said last month that China's women's professional tennis peng Shuai was reportedly missing after Chairman Bach confessed that he had been forced into sexual relations by the former Deputy Prime Minister of China. He talked with the athlete over a videophone and announced that he had been informed that he was safe.

On the 8th, the House of Representatives of the United States unanimously passed a resolution criticizing the IOC, saying, "We did not fulfill our obligation to protect human rights."

The resolution does not explain how the videophone was made, saying that "the IOC plays a role in justifying China's claim about the safety of Peng Shuai."

He added, "I doubt the ability and will to protect the rights of athletes participating in the Beijing Olympics and Paralympics."

In addition, we are calling on China to provide demonstrable evidence of the whereabouts and safety of athletes.
