Sudanese anticipation for the announcement of a new political agreement to resolve the political crisis

Sudan is awaiting the announcement of a new political agreement in the coming hours, between the military component of the country and the political forces, as a new step towards resolving the political crisis in the country.

Sudanese media reported that the new political declaration will be presented within hours and will be signed by the military component and political forces, explaining that the most important items of the political declaration are that the constitutional document is the ruler for the transitional period, and that public freedoms are not subject to violation.

The political declaration also stresses the need to complete the constitutional and justice structures, but this declaration will not be a constitution for the transitional period.

Today, the head of the Sudanese Umma Party, Fadlallah Nasser, said that the Sudanese political forces are consulting to develop the political agreement currently signed between the Chairman of the Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the Prime Minister, Abdullah Hamdok, explaining that this agreement has achieved great positives, but its negative is that it is a bilateral agreement. .

Nasser stressed that there are efforts to form a broad base to support Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok, stressing that his party did not reject the Hamdok and Burhan agreement, from the beginning, but was demanding its development.

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces in Sudan, Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, had affirmed full support for Dr. Abdallah Hamdok, the Prime Minister, saying that he must move forward to achieve the slogans of the revolution and that the armed forces stand by him.
