Putin urged to ensure the interests and rights of citizens in the digital space

He clarified that an alliance has been created in Russia, which develops certain principles of behavior in the digital sphere in order to ensure the interests and rights of citizens.

According to the president, "first of all, we are talking about the content that can harm young people, children, adolescents."

Earlier, during a meeting of the Human Rights Council, the Russian leader urged to address issues of the impact of international IT platforms on the younger generation.

Putin also drew the attention of the HRC to the fact that on transnational platforms there are massive cases of fraud, abuse of personal data of citizens and the distribution of illegal content that affects the interests of minors.
