China News Service, December 9th. According to a report from the Russian Satellite Network on the 9th, the Peruvian Air Force announced that the search and rescue team found a military helicopter that had disappeared in Peru before, and 5 people were killed.
The Peruvian Ministry of Defense announced on December 7 that the Mi-171Sh helicopter did not reach the destination and lost contact afterwards.
Helicopters and airplanes were immediately used to conduct search and rescue operations, but the search and rescue operations were interrupted due to bad weather conditions.
The Peruvian Air Force Command ordered an immediate ground search and rescue operation.
The news stated: “In the early morning of December 8, the Air Force’s search operation found the helicopter that had lost contact yesterday. The incident occurred in the Lima area. Regrettably, all five people on the helicopter died.”
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
