“Recently, there has been a significant increase in the number of US strategic aviation flights directly near the eastern borders of Russia,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
He noted that in the course of these flights, the crews of the US bombers "are also practicing reaching the line of using cruise missiles with a conventional missile strike."
He noted that the Russian air defense forces detect these targets in a timely manner and take measures to prevent incidents.
