Continuation in Kinshasa of the appeal trial of the double assassination of human rights defenders Floribert Chebeya and Fidèle Bazana executed in June 2010. Appeal trial which takes place at the military prison of Ndolo, in Kinshasa which highlighted the role prominent played notably by General John Numbi.

But after the first testimony of Colonel Paul Mwilambwe Londa who appeared this Wednesday another personality is cited, the former president Joseph Kabila.

of the defendant Paul Mwilambwe Londa

who was sentenced in 2011 to the death penalty while he was absent from the trial.

He had, he said, been kidnapped by the will of General John Numbi, then Inspector General of Police.

For this first appearance, Paul Mwilambwe, dressed as a police officer, recounted the adventures of his solitary confinement in Kinshasa and then in Lubumbashi, with the complicity, according to him, of senior military justice officials and the National Intelligence Agency. .
