60 new cases of “Corona” and recovery of 86 cases and no deaths

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection recorded 60 new cases of the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), and the recovery of 86 new cases of people with corona, noting that no deaths were recorded due to the repercussions of the virus during the past 24 hours.

And she stated that, in line with the plan to expand and increase the scope of examinations in the country with the aim of early detection and inventory of cases infected with the Corona virus and those who are in contact with them and isolate them, 320 thousand and 857 new examinations were conducted during the past 24 hours on different groups in society using the best and latest medical examination techniques. She added that the intensification of investigation procedures and the expansion of the scope of examinations at the state level contributed to the detection of 60 new cases of the emerging coronavirus of different nationalities, all of which are stable cases and subject to the necessary health care, bringing the total registered cases to 742,567 cases. And the ministry confirmed that no deaths were recorded due to the repercussions of the virus during the past 24 hours, and thus the number of deaths in the country remains 2,149 cases. And she explained that 86 new cases of people infected with the Corona virus were cured and fully recovered from the symptoms of the disease after receiving the necessary health care since entering the hospital, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 737,656 cases.

In addition, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced that 32,981 doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine were provided during the past 24 hours, bringing the total doses that were provided until yesterday, 22 million and 80,184 doses, and the vaccine distribution rate is 223.25 doses per 100 people.

She explained that this comes in line with the ministry's plan to provide a "Covid-19" vaccine, and in an effort to reach the acquired immunity resulting from vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the "Covid-19" virus.
