The weather in Egypt .. a dust storm and the closure of 4 ports

The Director of the Remote Sensing Center at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority, Dr. Eman Shaker, announced that the dust storm affected most of the governorates of the Republic, noting that visibility has now improved over Cairo and the Delta.



She added, in television statements, reported by the newspaper, "The Seventh Day", about the weather in Egypt, that the storm moved to Sinai and the cities of the Canal, which led to a decrease in visibility, pointing out that the storm will end by the end of today, Wednesday, to return the atmosphere to normal.



She explained that the height of the waves reached 5 meters in the Mediterranean, noting that some northern regions, including Alexandria, Port Said and Beheira, were subjected to rain.

Officials said on Wednesday that Egypt had closed four ports on the Red Sea due to bad weather.

A statement by the General Authority for the Economic Zone of the Suez Canal said that the ports of Adabiya and Sukhna were closed today, and it is expected to reopen them as soon as weather conditions improve.

The Red Sea Ports Authority said that the ports of Sharm El Sheikh and Suez were also closed due to bad weather.
