Aide to the President of Russia Yuri Ushakov told reporters about it.

“(Biden) hinted that as a first step, our diplomats would be given access to just see the state of our confiscated diplomatic property,” he said.

According to him, the American president himself raised the issue of the functioning of the diplomatic missions of the two countries.

Ushakov added that Biden told Putin that the American ambassador in Moscow was complaining "that it is impossible to work at all, there are not enough people, there are no diplomats, there is no means for the physical protection of the embassy and he himself is not there."

The Russian side, in response to this, noted that this is a consequence of actions that the United States began to undertake five years ago, in particular, bans, restrictions for Russian diplomats, mass expulsions of diplomatic missions and confiscation of diplomatic property.

Earlier, the Kremlin reported that Putin and Biden discussed difficulties in the work of the diplomatic missions of Russia and the United States.
