The US president is now planning talks with the leaders of France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Italy, already heard last night. 



Support for Ukrainian sovereignty


The head of the White House reiterated his support for Ukraine's sovereignty and its territorial integrity, calling for a "de-escalation and a return to diplomacy". This was announced by the American administration after the summit. Biden expressed the deep concerns of the US "and our European allies about the escalation of Russian forces around Ukraine", making it clear - thus White House sources - "that the United States and its allies will respond with strong economic measures. and otherwise in the event of military escalation ". 



The presidents instructed their assistants to work on the topics discussed by the leaders during the video call.

During the long conversation Biden and Putin discussed - as well as Ukraine - also the US-Russia dialogue on strategic stability, the "ransomware attacks" and Iran.
