“The presidents expressed the opinion that, given their special responsibility for maintaining international security and stability, Russia and the United States will continue dialogue and necessary contacts,” the Kremlin’s website said in a statement.
Earlier, the talks between Putin and Biden in the format of a video conference ended, they lasted just over two hours.
The White House noted that the leaders of the two countries instructed their teams to continue communicating on the topics that were discussed during the summit talks.
