Walter Butba headed the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Abkhazia

“To appoint Butba Walter Sergeevich the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia,” the presidential decree says.

In early October, it became known that the Minister of Internal Affairs of Abkhazia Dmitry Dbar was suspended from duty during the investigation of the incident with the shooting on the embankment of Sukhum on September 30.

On November 2, Dbar returned to duty.
