China News Service, Beijing, December 6 (Reporter Liang Xiaohui) In response to former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s claim that his remarks about his “things in Taiwan means things in Japan” aroused China’s attention, “It’s a great honor.” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian made a routine on the 6th. The press conference again refuted and pointed out that individual Japanese politicians were not ashamed of their own wrong words and deeds, and were instead proud of their wrong words and deeds, and once again exposed their right and wrong views.

A reporter asked questions. According to reports, on the 3rd, the Chinese side made representations on the remarks of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe that “if things happen in Taiwan, there are things in Japan”.

Abe said in response that his statement as a member of parliament has attracted China's attention and it is a great honor.

On the same day, Japan’s Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi said that it is necessary for China to understand the existence of such ideas in Japan.

What is China's comment?

Zhao Lijian said that individual Japanese politicians are not ashamed of their own wrong words and deeds, but are instead proud of themselves, and once again exposed their right and wrong views.

Zhao Lijian pointed out that there are indeed many ideas in Japan. For example, some people want to deny or even beautify Japan's foreign invasion history and colonial rule, some people ignore the global marine environmental security and human life and health, and want to discharge Fukushima nuclear pollution water to the sea without taking responsibility. There are still people who want to use the Taiwan issue to interfere in China's internal affairs.

But the existence of a certain idea does not mean that it is correct.

"Those wrong ideas will only be the wishful thinking of certain people in Japan, and they will not be recognized by neighboring Asian countries and the international community."

Zhao Lijian emphasized that the Taiwan issue concerns China's core interests, the political foundation of China-Japan relations, and the basic faith between the two countries.

Japan should keep its promises, stop interfering in China's internal affairs, stop provoking the one-China principle, and stop sending wrong signals to "Taiwan independence" forces.
