In the Jönköping County Region, 74 percent of all people aged 65 or older have been vaccinated or booked an appointment for a third vaccination injection.

- We can already now offer enhanced protection through a refill dose to the next group, according to the Public Health Agency's priorities, says vaccination coordinator Jonas Almgren.

There are 5,200 free hours in the booking system, which is to be compared with the 3,200 residents who need a booked time for a refill dose in order for the coverage rate to amount to 80 percent.

When Region Jönköping County achieves a vaccination coverage of 60 percent with a refill dose to people who are prioritized right now, a third dose can be offered to people who are 18 years and older.

Staff in health care and other care staff, including staff in LSS, will not be offered a refill dose via the health centers.

In some businesses, however, vaccines will be offered through the employer.

Otherwise, you have to wait for the order of priority based on age.
