First confirmation of Russian Omicron strain infection
The Russian government announced on the 6th that two of the Russians who returned from South Africa and neighboring countries were confirmed to be infected with a new mutant virus, Omicron strain.
This is the first time that an infection with the Omicron strain has been confirmed in Russia.
