Taiwan authorities "staff stationed abroad" preach "Taiwan Strait war", netizens: I am in trouble and want to drag the world into the water

[Global Network Reporter Yin Yanhui] "I caused a problem, and now want to drag the world into the water?" On December 3, a report by Taiwan's "Central News Agency" made netizens on the island raise such questions.

“Central News Agency” reported that Singapore’s “Asia News” (CNA) interviewed a number of experts, scholars and Taiwan’s “Representative in Singapore” Liang Guoxin to discuss the possibility of a war in the Taiwan Strait. The program was broadcast on the evening of the 2nd.

Liang Guoxin claimed in the program that the situation in the Taiwan Strait is a "very important issue" not only for Taiwan, Asia, and even the whole world.

If there is a conflict in the Taiwan Strait, it is not only a matter for both sides of the strait.

As for whether there will be a war between the two sides of the strait, Liang Guoxin declared that if countries around the world do not pay attention to the situation in the Taiwan Strait, if they consider this to be a "China problem," a war may occur.

"Selling dried mangoes again (a homophonic of'the sense of subjugation')." Some netizens on the island disagree with this argument and ridiculed the DPP authorities.

Some people also believe that the DPP authorities do not say that they proactively provoke the mainland and cooperate with the old and the United States to sell Taiwan's interests. They "will only pretend to be pitiful and beg (begging) foreign forces to intervene."

Some netizens left a message questioning the DPP authorities: "I caused a problem, now want to drag the world into the water?"

Some netizens denounced: "If you don't die, you won't die..."

Prior to this, the DPP authorities had more than once hyped the so-called "military threat" from the mainland.

The spokesperson of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council Ma Xiaoguang once clearly stated that compatriots on both sides of the strait must clearly understand that the current situation in the Taiwan Strait is complex and severe, and cross-strait relations are tense and confrontational.

What they did has seriously damaged the vital interests of compatriots on both sides of the strait and the fundamental interests of the Chinese nation, and also seriously undermined the peace and stability of the Taiwan Strait.

Ma Xiaoguang also emphasized that the DPP authorities' hype of the so-called "military threat" on the mainland is completely reversing right and wrong.

Such lies cannot deceive compatriots on both sides of the strait and the international community.

If the DPP authorities persist in their perplexity and do not know how to rein in the precipice, they will only push Taiwan into an even more dangerous situation.
