06 December 2021 The investigation that led to the arrest, among others, of the president of Sampdoria, Massimo Ferrero, is based on the crash of 4 companies, all declared bankrupt between 2017 and 2020: under the lens of the prosecutors of Paola, the fate of Ellemme Spa, Blu Cinematografica Srl, Blu Line Sirl and Maestrale Srl. According to Paola's prosecutor, the suspects over the years would have "proceeded to destroy or steal the books and other accounting records of the companies, with the aim - the judge writes - to procure an unjust profit for oneself or others ".

The judge ordered the arrest of Massimo Ferrero - resigning president of Sampdoria - of his daughter Vanessa, his nephew Giorgio and three other people, including two managers, whose identity has not been disclosed at the moment.

In the order 38 counts of indictment

In total there are 38 counts of indictment, for various reasons, cited in the precautionary custody order. Among the complaints reported the episode that took place in February 2014: the report of an alleged false car theft. It would be - the prosecutors write in the papers - "of an Audi in which there was kept a leather bag containing all the accounting documents of one of the companies that went bankrupt".

The use of a yacht

From the order it emerges that some suspects - including Ferrero himself - would have distracted the assets of the Blu Line company, transferring the use of a yacht to Ferrero free of charge and therefore without any consideration - in the period between 2008 and 2011. same. "Against the costs incurred by the Company" - writes the investigating judge - "for the leasing contract over 333 thousand euros are reported in the financial statements at 21 December 2008, at 31 December 2009: 670 thousand euros and for the years relating to 2010-2011 : for 2.3 million euros.

According to the investigators, one of the companies involved - the "Ellemme group Srl" - allegedly attributed a debt of 1 million and 200 thousand euros that various companies of the group had to Rai Cinema Spa, "thus renouncing - reads the order - to collect the receivables from the same, claimed from Rai Cinema Spa, without requesting any consideration and without agreeing interest payments ". From this - the thesis of the power of attorney - "the cause of the failure of the company Ellemme Group srl".

All the assignments of the Ferrero according to the Pm

The sole director of "Ellemme" turns out to be Vanessa Ferrero (the daughter of the president of Sampdoria), but her father, Massimo Ferrero - says the prosecutor - "is the de facto administrator". Ferrero himself - again according to the investigations - also appears to have been sole director of "Global Media srl" over the years, chairman of the board of "Mediaport spa" and sole director of "Mediaport Cinemas Srl" (while his daughter was also sole director of "Ferrero Cinemas srl").

The Ellemme company would also have registered a debt of 806 thousand euros that Global Media srl, Mediaport Spa and Ferrero Cinemas, owed to Rai Cinema. In the second charge, the debt - which ends up on Ellemme's shoulders - is 209 thousand euros (contracted by Mediaport srl and MediaportCinema), while in the third it amounts to over 239 thousand accumulated by Mediaport Cinema and Ferrero Cinemas.

The accusations of the prosecutor against Vanessa Ferrero

The daughter of the former number one of Sampdoria is accused by the magistrates of the prosecutor of Paola of having stolen over 740 thousand from the coffers of the Ellemme company "to procure an unfair profit for herself or others and harm creditors". The subtraction of money would have occurred - reads the ordinance - "with repeated withdrawals from bank current accounts in the availability of Ellemme Group Srl: both in cash and by check, distracting the amount of 740,520 euros".
