The Saudi-led coalition announced the destruction of 5 booby-trapped drones targeting areas in Saudi Arabia, while the Houthis bombed areas in Ma'rib Governorate with ballistic missiles.
On Sunday evening, the coalition said in a brief statement published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the Saudi defenses had intercepted and destroyed a drone launched to target civilians in the kingdom, without further details.
Earlier on Sunday, the coalition announced the interception and destruction of 4 Houthi drones that tried to target the southern region of Saudi Arabia.
And he stated in a second statement published by SPA that he launched air strikes against legitimate military targets (which he did not specify) in Sanaa in response to the threat.
The coalition called on civilians not to gather or approach the targeted sites, considering that the operation is in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
Houthi media announced that coalition warplanes launched 34 raids in Sirwah and al-Juba, west and south of Ma'rib Governorate.

On the other hand, Yemeni local sources said that 5 ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis fell in several areas in the city of Ma'rib on Sunday.
She added that the Houthi shelling coincided with violent confrontations that erupted between the Houthis and the army forces in areas west and south of Ma'rib Governorate.
Earlier, military sources said that Houthi militants launched a violent attack on army and resistance positions on the "Dhanna" front (south of Marib), with the aim of controlling those sites.
The sources added that the attack was repelled, and the battles resulted in deaths and injuries on both sides.
Since the beginning of last February, the Houthis have intensified their attacks in Marib to control it, as it is the most important stronghold of the government and the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense, in addition to its enjoyment of oil and gas wealth, and the Marib gas station, which before the war supplied most of the provinces with electricity.
